The Level I Parenting: Partners in Parenting Course focuses on the identified concerns of parents involved in the child welfare system and encourages learning and skill-building in key areas such as parent-child communication, developmental expectancies, guidance and discipline, problem solving, and self-care. The intervention is structured around eight (8) sections that allows participants to practice parenting strategies and journal their experience. The comprehensive outlines for each session provide exercises and activities, and handouts. Useful supplemental materials are also provided.
